Library as well as other worthwhile community programs. Join us in supporting

Annual Meeting
When: Monday, May 24, 6-8 p.m.
Description: Join the Friends of the Saratoga Springs Public Library for their annual meeting and a 60th anniversary celebration of the library from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 24th in the H. Dutcher Community Room of the library. Stroll down memory lane as Harry Dutcher, former director of the library; Ken Bollerud, library board chairman; and Ellen deLalla, former head of the Saratoga Room give a special presentation highlighting the 60 years of the library.
The H. Dunham Hunt Award will be presented to Marie Morrison, who started an outreach program 10 years ago that has provided 40,000 free books to area prisons, nursing homes, social service agencies, and the veterans’ hospital. The Marie Madden Award will be presented to Marian Potter, a longtime volunteer for the Book Bag Shop, which offers used books for sale to raise money for the library. Daniel Cody Johnson will receive the Lillibridge Scholarship for further library study. Book Bag volunteers will be recognized and board elections will be held. Refreshments will be served.
