Saratoga Springs Public Library’s 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee

Please joins us to celebrate our Library’s 75th Anniversary with a Dessert & Cocktail Reception!

Date: Friday, October 24, 2025

Time: 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Where: The Main Floor of the Saratoga Springs Public Library (please enter through the Putnam Street entrance)

What to Expect:

• For the first time ever, the Library will be open after hours for this very special cocktail reception.
• There will be live 50’s music playing all night.
• Be amazed with strolling magic from Magic Matt.
• We will have an extensive dessert bar, a candy bar, and grazing station for you to nibble on.
• Little Lucy’s Mobile Bar offering beer, wine, and seltzer for $5 each. 1 free drink ticket will be given to each attendee.
• Try your luck and buy raffle tickets for one of our many raffle baskets.
• Pick Six Vodka and One With Life Tequila will be pouring signature cocktail samples. 
• Throw a nod to the 50’s! 50’s attire is encouraged!

The week of October 19th is also National Friends of Libraries Week (NFOLW). As part of NFOLW, and the Library’s 75th Anniversary, the Friends Annual Appeal will launch. Funds raised through the appeal and the 75th Anniversary event will help the Friends continue to fulfill their mission of supporting the Library’s programs and services – including beloved community initiatives such as Saratoga READS! and the Children’s Summer Reading Program – ensuring that the Library remains a vibrant resource for learning, creativity, and connection for generations to come.
