Elaine Handley is Professor Emeritus of Empire State University and, with Mary Sanders Shartle and Marilyn McCabe, a three-time winner of the Adirondack Center for Writing’s Best Book of Poetry. She currently leads writing workshops and is committed to helping people experience writing as an accessible, democratic tool for expression and well-being.
