David K. Wilson is an award-winning author known primarily for his popular Sam Lawson Mystery series. He grew up in East Texas, surrounded by enough colorful characters to fill the pages of hundreds of books. Later, while living in Chicago, he became an advertising copywriter and creative director, and is probably responsible for some of the junk mail you’ve received over the years. 

In addition to his own novels, David is a seasoned ghostwriter and has worked with USA Today best-selling authors to develop and co-write several psychological thrillers. He’s also a successful screenwriter, having written several horror movies, as well as the acclaimed family film Spirit Riders, starring Lance Henrickson, C. Thomas Howell and Alexandria DeBerry. 

David currently lives in Saratoga Springs, New York, and still complains about the cold weather every single winter.
