Library staff held their first program which utilized new laptops donated by Friends of the Library. The program was entitled: Musical Inventions DIY Instruments to Toot, Tap, Strum, Pluck and Turn On. Participants used a circuit board called a Makey Makey to create their own electronic instruments using MIT’s free computer programming software, Scratch. They have several more programs planned for the summer that incorporate the new laptops!
