The Friends Purchase Laptops for Library’s Youth Services Dept.

Library staff held their first program which utilized new laptops donated by Friends of the Library. The program was entitled: Musical Inventions DIY Instruments to Toot, Tap, Strum, Pluck and Turn On. Saratoga Springs Centennial Event at the Library!

In celebration of the Saratoga Springs City Centennial, take a literary step back in time. Members of the community will be reading selection from best sellers and other articles, poems, children’s books, novels, and stories published in 1915. No registration required.

The Friends’ Marie Morrison Outreach Program

Friends of the Saratoga Springs Public Library participated in Saratoga County Kids Care Club’s 2015 BookShare service project. Their Club’s members collected over 3,500 gently used and new books for its 2015 project in honor of Dr. Seuss. Through The Friends’ Marie Morrison Outreach Program, we donated childrens books to their worthy cause.
